ANGLEMONT, pop 385, is a LOGGING and summer recreation community on the north shore of SHUSWAP LK, 30 km northeast of SALMON ARM. It was named in 1914 by the first postmaster, W.A. Hudson, after nearby Angle Mt, which had earlier been named by G.M. DAWSON after the angle formed by SEYMOUR ARM and Shuswap Lk.
