Deep Creek

DEEP CREEK, pop 585, is a small AGRICULTURAL community 11 km south of SALMON ARM, just west of Gardom Lk. A variety of crops are grown in the rich valley soil and DAIRY FARMING is also important here. A school was established here in 1894 but later closed. There is a park at Gardom Lk and the Deep Creek Tool Museum has an array of pioneer implements and farm equipment.
