GRAY, John MacLachlan, writer, musician (b 26 Sept 1946, Ottawa). Raised in Truro, NS, he came to VANCOUVER to study THEATRE at UBC and helped found TAMAHNOUS THEATRE. He has written screenplays, drama and a novel, Dazzled (1984), but he is best known for his musicals, which include 18 Wheels (1976), about trucking; Billy Bishop Goes to War (1978), about the WWI flying ace; Rock and Roll (1982), based on his own experience in a teenage rock band; Health, The Musical (1989), about health issues;...
