GREEN, Howard Charles, lawyer, politician (b 5 Nov 1895, Kaslo; d 26 June 1989, Vancouver). After graduating from Osgoode Hall law school in Ontario, he was called to the BC bar in 1922 and began practising in VANCOUVER. He was first elected to the federal House of Commons for the Conservatives in 1935 and held his seat for the next 28 years.
