Keats Island


KEATS ISLAND, pop 63, lies in southwest HOWE SOUND opposite GIBSONS and is part of the SUNSHINE COAST Regional District. During his 1859 survey, Capt George RICHARDS named it for British Admiral Sir Richard Goodwin Keats. The Keats Island Baptist Camp established in 1926 still operates as Keats Camps.
