Kitselas Canyon


KITSELAS CANYON  () , about 2 km long, is a narrowing of the SKEENA R 150 km upstream from the mouth, just east of TERRACE. It is near the boundary between the coastal TSIMSHIAN and the GITKSAN First Nations and has been occupied for at least 5,000 years.
