KLAHOOSE  () (Mainland COMOX) people, a FIRST NATION of the Northern Coast Salish (see SALISHAN FIRST NATIONS), occupied the shores of TOBA INLET and the islands at its mouth at the top of GEORGIA STRAIT. Their traditional villages were at the head of Toba Inlet.
