LORANGER, Clancy, journalist (b 30 Sept 1921, Cutknife, SK; d 4 Dec 2010, Burnaby). A popular VANCOUVER personality, he started his career in NEWSPAPERS in 1939 as a copy boy with the PROVINCE, earning $7 per week. He gradually worked his way into the sports department, becoming a full-fledged sports writer in 1941.
