MARACLE, Lee, writer (b 1950, N Vancouver; d 11 Nov 2021, Surrey, BC). Her first novel, Bobbie Lee: Indian Rebel (1975), published when she was 25 years old, is a memoir of her life on the road and her anger at the racism and injustice suffered by Indigenous people and especially Indigenous women.
