MOORE, Greg, race-car driver (b 22 Apr 1975, Maple Ridge; d 31 Oct 1999, Fontana, CA). He started competing at age 11 when his father bought him a go-kart to race at Westwood Motorsport Park. After winning the USAC Formula 2000 West title at 17, Greg joined the Indy Lights developmental series and won a record 10 of 12 races in 1995, quieting critics who had said he was too young for professional racing.
