Munro, James Alexander


MUNRO, James Alexander, ornithologist (b 1883, Kildonan, MB; d 1959). Raised in Toronto, he moved to BC in 1910, settling on property at OKANAGAN LANDING, where he worked as an orchardist. He also began to work as a professional field collector, gathering bird specimens for museums throughout N America.
