MUSGRAVE, Susan, writer (b 12 Mar 1951, Santa Cruz, CA). She was raised on VANCOUVER ISLAND and at age 19 published her first book of poetry, Songs of the Sea-Witch (1970). She has since published 14 volumes of poetry, several books for children and 3 novels, The Charcoal Burners (1980), The Dancing Chicken (1987) and Cargo of Orchids (2000).
