Myncaster

MYNCASTER, 40 km west of GRAND FORKS near the US boundary, was a border settlement and station on the GREAT NORTHERN RWY from 1907 to the early 1930s, when the line was abandoned. It was named for Thomas and William McMynn, early settlers who ran the nearby Harpur Ranch, which dates from 1862.
