Pacific Salmon Commission


PACIFIC SALMON COMMISSION was established in 1985 by the governments of Canada and the US to implement the PACIFIC SALMON TREATY. It represents the interests of commercial and recreational fisheries; federal, state and tribal governments; and environmental agencies. The commission provides regulatory recommendations to the 2 countries but does not regulate the salmon fisheries.
