PEZIM, Murray, stock promoter (b 29 Dec 1921, Toronto; d 22 Apr 1998, Vancouver). A large man with a large personality, "The Pez" went from riches to bankruptcy and back again. He left high school in 1937 to join the family meat business. After serving in the army during WWII, he returned to Toronto and began investing in stocks and working as a broker.
