Rivers Inlet


RIVERS INLET is a mainland FJORD, 48 km long, off FITZ HUGH SOUND just north of the top of VANCOUVER ISLAND. It was named by Capt George VANCOUVER for George Pitt, First Baron Rivers, a minor British politician. It is known for its productive SALMON fishing.
