Rockfish


ROCKFISH is a common name for a number of species of scorpionfish (family Scorpaenidae) exhibiting a variety of shapes, sizes and colours. In BC there are 34 species of rockfish, including quillback, yelloweye (red snapper), tiger and copper—each differing from the others in appearance, habitat and life span.
