Rowe, Paul


ROWE, Paul, football player (b 25 Jan 1917, Seattle; d 26 Aug 1990, Calgary). An excellent high school RUGBY player, he first played FOOTBALL in 1931, for the VICTORIA Commercial Travellers. After continuing the sport at the Univ of Oregon, he joined the Calgary Bronks (later Stampeders) and played fullback and linebacker for 3 seasons before WWII began.
