Scott, Charles Hepburn


SCOTT, Charles Hepburn, artist (b 1886, Newmilns, Scotland; d 1964, Vancouver). After training at the Glasgow School of Art he immigrated to Canada in 1912 to take up the job of supervisor of art for the Calgary school system. Two years later he moved west to take the same job with the VANCOUVER School Board. During WWI he served with the army overseas, and returned to his job at the school board at war's end.
