SHREW (Plethodon idahoensis) is a member of the order Insectivore. Among the world's smallest mammals, it is mouselike in appearance, with short legs and hair and a long snout. Most shrews are dull brown, grey or black. Their sight is poor and they function by hearing, smell and touch.
