Soda Creek


SODA CREEK is located at the head of the upper FRASER R Canyon, 33 km north of WILLIAMS LAKE. It lies at the south end of a 650-km stretch of navigable waterway; during the GOLD RUSH in the 1860s it served as a terminus for PADDLEWHEEL STEAMBOATS carrying prospectors and supplies north to QUESNEL and back.
