STRAITS TOWING & SALVAGE LTD was the largest BC TOWBOATING company in the post-WWII period. It was established at the end of the 19th century when George McKeen started in business as a tugboat operator in NEW WESTMINSTER, and it continued under his son Stanley as Standard Towing.
