Synchronized Swimming


SYNCHRONIZED SWIMMING in BC started with coach Freddie McDermott's swim team and the Royal Life Saving Society girls' team, which practised pattern and precision swimming in the late 1930s and 1940s, and the first BC Ornamental Swimming Championships held in 1949 at the Crystal Pool in VANCOUVER.
