Tatalrose

TATALROSE, 35 km southwest of BURNS LAKE and south of FRANÇOIS LK, is a farming and LOGGING district first settled about 1907. MENNONITE families took up land here in the 1940s and a number of GERMANS bought recreational and retirement property in the late 1980s. The post office in the area was originally named Bickle, after a pioneer family.
