Tranquille


TRANQUILLE  () lies at the mouth of the river of the same name on the north side of Kamloops Lk, 10 km west of KAMLOOPS. It was the site of the first saw and grist mill in the central Interior, built in 1868 by William FORTUNE and James McINTOSH.
