VANCOUVER GRIZZLIES basketball team was VANCOUVER's short-lived entry in the National Basketball Assoc. The franchise was established in 1994 by Arthur Griffiths (son of Frank GRIFFITHS), then owner of the VANCOUVER CANUCKS hockey team, and shared GENERAL MOTORS PLACE with the Canucks.
