Walcott

WALCOTT, 36 km southeast of SMITHERS on the CNR, was the site of a former GRAND TRUNK PACIFIC RWY depot. A footbridge crossed the BULKLEY R here and a one-room school and post office (1925–66) served a small settlement of railway workers and homesteaders.
