Wesbrook, Frank Fairchild


WESBROOK, Frank Fairchild, medical scientist (b 12 July 1868, Brant Country, ON; d 20 Oct 1918, Vancouver). After studies at the Univ of Manitoba and in London, Dublin and Cambridge, he became, at age 27, the head of pathology at the Univ of Minnesota. He was dean of medicine there when he was hired away in 1913 to become first president of UBC.
