WESTERN CANADA WILDERNESS COMMITTEE is a non-profit conservation society based in VANCOUVER. Since it was founded by Paul George in 1980 it has taken part in many high-profile campaigns to preserve forested areas of the province from development, including the STEIN and CARMANAH valleys.
