WONG, Paul, multimedia artist (b 1955, Prince Rupert). He moved to VANCOUVER in 1962 and grew up on the east side. During the 1970s he emerged as a pioneer in the making of video art, as well as the organization of artist-run centres through his association with the WESTERN FRONT.
