York House School


YORK HOUSE SCHOOL in the Shaughnessy district of VANCOUVER is a private school for girls. It was founded in 1932 and named for the English hometown of the first headmistress, Lena (Cotsworth) Clarke. The school, with 600 students from kindergarten to grade 12, has been administered since 1958 by a non-profit society. See also EDUCATION, PRIVATE.
