BEACHCOMBERS was the most successful television show ever made in BC. Filmed at GIBSONS, north of Vancouver, from 1971 to 1991, it depicted life in a "typical" coastal community. Its focal point was Molly's Reach cafe, actually Gibsons' old liquor store. Regular cast members included Bruno GERUSSI, Robert CLOTHIER, Pat John, Rae Brown and Jackson Davies, all of whom are now familiar to viewers in the many countries around the world where the series has been rebroadcast.
