Beaver Lake

BEAVER LAKE, 43 km northeast of WILLIAMS LAKE, was the site of an early CARIBOO roadhouse established by Peter DUNLEVY in 1861. The Hamilton family later operated a ranch and post office here. From Beaver Lake a road runs northwest to QUESNEL past the picturesque farms and log cabin homes of the Beaver Valley.
