BEN-MY-CHREE was an unusual tourist destination at the south end of Taku Arm in Tagish Lake. Otto Partridge, manager of a steamboat company at Bennett Lake, invested in a GOLD mining property at the site in 1911. The mine was abandoned but Partridge and his wife Kate moved to the site, built a log cabin and developed a beautiful English garden in the middle of the wilderness.
