Bend

BEND was a SAWMILL settlement and station on the CNR and the FRASER R, 110 km east of PRINCE GEORGE and just west of DOME CREEK. A school and post office operated here in the 1930s. It was named for the 90-degree turn the railway tracks take at this location.
