BENTALL, Barney, singer, songwriter (b 10 Mar 1956, Toronto). The grandson of the VANCOUVER construction magnate Charles BENTALL, he began his recording career using the name Brandon Wolf in an attempt to disguise his connection to the prominent family. After playing for several years in Vancouver clubs, he and his band recorded a 1988 album, Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts, and captured the Juno Award for most promising group.
