Bowser, William John


BOWSER, William John, lawyer, politician, premier 15 Dec 1915–23 Nov 1916 (b 3 Dec 1867, Rexton, NB; d 25 Oct 1933, Vancouver). After graduating from Dalhousie Univ in Halifax, he moved to VANCOUVER in 1891 and began practising law. He won a Vancouver seat in the provincial legislature in 1903 as a CONSERVATIVE and held it for the next 21 years.
