Brentwood College


BRENTWOOD COLLEGE is a co-educational private secondary school at MILL BAY, north of VICTORIA. It began in 1923 as a boys' boarding school nearer Victoria, founded by a group of wealthy, mainly English-born lawyers and businessmen, to provide education on the English public school model. The original school closed in 1948 after fire destroyed the premises. It revived at the present location in 1961 on the initiative of several alumni. Girls have been admitted since 1972.
