BULLION, at Dancing Bill's Gulch, 62 km northeast of WILLIAMS LAKE on the road to LIKELY, was one of the world's largest hydraulic MINING sites. From 1892 to 1898 John Hobson and the CPR-controlled Cariboo Hydraulic Mining Co used high-pressure monitors to recover GOLD worth $1.25 million.
