EDMONDS, Henry Valentine, land speculator, government official (b 14 Feb 1837, Dublin, Ireland; d 14 June 1897, Vancouver). After arriving in BC in 1862 he plunged into a variety of business ventures in and around NEW WESTMINSTER.
