EWINGS LANDING is a rural AGRICULTURAL settlement and former sternwheeler (see PADDLEWHEEL STEAMBOATS) stop on the west side of OKANAGAN LK, 20 km southwest of VERNON. It is named after R.L. Ewing, who settled here in the early 1900s, opened a store and served as postmaster
