Goat River


GOAT RIVER, on the CNR line 150 km southeast of PRINCE GEORGE, was a SAWMILLING and railway settlement just west of where the Goat R joins the FRASER. There was a small GOLD mine nearby. By 1978 only one dwelling, occupied by a CNR maintenance man, remained.
