GREENE (RAINE), Nancy Catherine, skier (b 11 May 1943, Ottawa). She was raised in ROSSLAND, where she began SKI racing as a teenager. Between 1960 and 1968 as a member of Canada's national ski team she was a leading competitor on the international circuit. Her career included 13 World Cup victories and the overall World Cup titles in 1967 and 1968 and culminated in 2 medals at the 1968 Grenoble Olympics, gold in the giant slalom and silver in the slalom.
