THING COMPANY (NETCO), founded in 1966 and incorporated as a business in 1969, was an umbrella under which Iain and Ingrid Baxter, 2 VANCOUVER artists, carried out a variety of unconventional activities parodying prevailing notions of art, including environmental gallery installations, a photo lab, a pee-wee HOCKEY team and the Eye Scream Restaurant.
