O'Hagan, Howard


O'HAGAN, Howard, writer (b 17 Feb 1902, Lethbridge, AB; d Dec 1982, Victoria). He graduated from McGill Univ law school in 1925 but practised only briefly before giving it up to work as a guide and packer in the ROCKY MTS. He then worked as a publicist for the CNR and a railway in Argentina, and he spent time living in various places in Canada, Europe, Australia and the US. In 1974 he returned to live in VICTORIA, where he had worked as a journalist and labourer in the 1950s. He wrote 2 novels...
