Westholme

WESTHOLME, a small farming settlement on VANCOUVER ISLAND in the district municipality of NORTH COWICHAN, 38 km southeast of NANAIMO, was originally known as Hall's Crossing. The postmaster, Capt C.E. Barkley, named the post office after his house, his "home in the west." A picturesque local ANGLICAN church dates from 1880.
