Dallas Island

Dallas Island (52˚22'00" 128˚28'00" Off SW side of Dowager I, Milbanke Sd, NW of Bella Bella). Jane Douglas (1839–1909) was born at Ft Vancouver in what is now Washington state, the second surviving daughter of HBC chief trader James Douglas and his wife, Amelia. She moved with her family in 1849 to Ft Victoria, where her father soon became gov of Vancouver I.
