David Cove


David Cove (48˚51'58" 123˚16'28" E side of Mayne I, Gulf Is). The Davids were an early farming family on Mayne I. Francis L David (1846–1909) came to Canada from France in 1887. He married Elizabeth Collinson (1866–1940), who was born at Sumas, BC, the daughter of Mayne I pioneer William Collinson (see Collinson Point), and they had a large family. The former local name for this feature was Hidden Cove.
