David Ledge (52˚01'00" 128˚15'00" NW of the Prince Group, off SW end of Campbell I, SW of Bella Bella). The Prince David was one of three fast, luxurious liners built in the UK by the CNR for use on the BC coast. Put into service in 1930, they proved too cumbersome—and too expensive to operate in the Depression era—and the 109-m, 6,251-tonne Prince David was soon transferred to the W Indies as a cruise ship.
