Deas Rock


Deas Rock (52˚38'00" 128˚47'00" Off W side of Hastings I, Laredo Sd, NW of Bella Bella). Sapper William Deas was a member of the Columbia detachment of Royal Engineers, which served in BC 1858–63. He may not have joined the rest of the contingent until 1861.
